TravelPerk gets canceled trips refunded by at least 80%

TravelPerk has a feature called FlexiPerk, which allows users to get at least 80% of their trips refunded onto a credit card or as travel points in the platform. This includes if they need to cancel up to 2-hours before departure. In a world filled with uncertainty, you should be able to cancel your trip, no questions asked—and FlexiPerk allows just that. 

Egencia cannot quite offer the same flexibility when it comes to canceling trips. In some cases, bookings are non-refundable, or may only be done over the phone. At best, you’ll need to cancel 24-hours in advance, as is the case with their Hotel Flex Policy.

TravelPerk admins can create smooth approval processes for their teams and ensure control over spending and bookings are within policy. You can manually set up approval flows between the booker, traveler, and approver. Egencia’s booking processes are not so smooth. Users often report things like “hard approval process […] constantly fluctuating prices” or say “the approval process can sometimes be misleading.” Not great if you’re a fast-moving company, with faster moving employees!
