Business Travel in a Post COVID-19 World: A New Golden Age for Rail?

Jean-Christophe Taunay-Bucalo is the Chief Commercial Officer at TravelPerk, which helps automate business travel management. TravelPerk allows business travelers to book their own trips within company policy, making the often difficult process of traveling for business easy. JC has worked in cloud computing and the SaaS (software as a service) industry for 10 years and has international experience through founding and developing offices in Europe, North America and APAC. He has successfully driven four SaaS companies to leading positions worldwide.

In his 10 years at Trainline, Brett has helped numerous TMCs, GDSs and OBTS to provide more environmentally sustainable travel choices by supplying them with rail content and solutions.

Customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything he does, from consulting clients to ensure they get the best results, to introducing new booking tools without business disruption. Brett leads a highly successful double-award winning global sales team and is based in the London office. When travelling for business by train, Brett enjoys the easy and central access to train stations as well as the ability to work.

Brock joined TravelPerk in 2018 in strategic sales and business development - first at the Barcelona HQ, then moving to London to open TravelPerk UK, the company's first remote office. Brock started his career in travel with Porter Airlines in Toronto where he spent 8 years working in both group & charter sales then corporate sales. During this time he was highly active in the MICE industry holding board positions with SITE Canada and MPI. Seeking a change of scenery, Brock moved to Barcelona in 2016 to open the European HQ for Options Away, a B2B2C travel technology.

JC Taunay-Bucalo is the Chief Commercial Officer at TravelPerk, the fastest-growing Saas company in the world.
